We've been in Louisiana for a year now. It sure doesn't sound like that long. We've been busy at times, bored at others. I am teaching 3rd grade at Live Oak Elementary in Watson. Great school, great people, great students. Cheney is doing a little bit of everything while we are here. Jack of all trades.

The weather has been dramatically different from anything on the west coast. We don't run our heat at all in the winter, but our A/C doesn't stop from February until November. I don't worry about my hair and makeup, because within 10 minutes of being outside, anything that I had fixed, isn't so any more.

We've been attending Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge. For those of you in Washington, it's very similar to Highpointe, just larger. We have about 8,000 members right now and are building a new facility.
